Rita’s Guacamole

Ingredient List

2 ripe avocados
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 lime, juiced or about 2 tbsp (or more if needed)
1 tbsp cumin
1 small tomato, diced
1/4 tsp salt (or to taste)
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp hot sauce (optional)
1 tbsp chopped cilantro (optional)


  1.  Wash avocados and cut in half.  Remove pits and set aside.  Scoop out avocado into a medium bowl.
  2. Smash avocado with fork until smooth but chunky.  Add in remaining ingredients and mix.
  3. Add to serving bowl and place at least one pit in the center and cover.  Allow to sit or serve immediately.
