Salsa Verde

Ingredient List

1 1/2 lbs tomatillos, husks removed, washed and cut in half
1/2 cup white onion
2 jalapeños, seeded and sliced in half
3-4 garlic cloves
1 tbsp avocado oil
Sea Salt
2 tbsp fresh cilantro
1 lime, juiced


  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Combine tomatillos, garlic onion, jalapenos and avocado oil on a baking sheet.  Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Bake for about 25 minutes until tomatillos start to brown.
  4. Remove from oven and let cool.
  5. Place in blender with cilantro and lime juice.  Blend well until smooth.  Serve!
