Chocolate Holiday Truffles {GF,DF}

Ingredient List

12 dates, pitted
2/3 cup almond butter (should be drippy)
1/2 cup almond flour
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 T. raw maca powder
2-3 T. unsweetened cocoa powder

Optional: Coconut flakes, hemp seeds, extra cocoa powder for rolling


  1. Add dates to the blender and process until smooth. If they are on the dry side, you may need to add a little bit of water or plant based milk
  2. Add the almond butter, almond flour, cocoa powder, maca powder and cinnamon. Continue to blend, scraping down the sides as necessary.
  3. Use a spoon to scoop tablespoon sized balls and roll into a ball
  4. Roll each ball in topping of choice
  5. Store in a container in the fridge for up to a week
